A multi-instrumentalist and composer, Seth Pae is a fixture of Chicago’s vibrant music scene. By day (and some nights), you’ll find him in the viola section as Assistant Principal of the Chicago Sinfonietta and a member of the chamber collective D-Composed. Behind the piano, he might be belting out your favorite songs at a dueling pianos night at Sluggers, a solo set at the Zebra Lounge, or music directing a comedy show! As a composer and arranger, Seth writes for everything from solo viola to full orchestra, and he’s teamed up with rappers, dancers, spoken word artists, and even a hammered dulcimer player. Whatever the stage, his goal is simple: keep it interesting.
