​Seth Pae is a professional musician based in Chicago. His primary instrument is the viola, and he is currently the Assistant Principal Violist for the Chicago Sinfonietta.

  • As an orchestral freelancer, he has frequent guest engagements including: Grant Park Music Festival, The Chicago Lyric Opera, The Quad City Symphony, The Elgin Symphony and the New Philharmonic, among others.
 
  • As a studio musician, he records tracks for R+B, Hip-Hop, New Age and Folk artists including John Legend, Caitlin Edwards, Matt Jones, Alexandria Hill, Marcus Norris, and Adrian Dunn among others.

  • Along with performing and recording, Seth performs viola at weddings, either solo or in a string quartet. He is also a teacher with two after school programs, and a mentor with CMPI.
